Shoes, Glorious Shoes!!
Like all girls, i love my shoes!
I recently found this heavenly site in America, that does really pretty shoes. Heels, wedges, pumps and flats, they do it all. Practical and ready for any use. Whether its going into work, out clubbing, or social event. Julianne Hough (star of Safe Haven and Dancing With The Stars) designs a range of shoes for them too, and they are heavenly (as are all the rest of their shoes). I contacted them on Facebook, and was gutted when they told me that they don't ship to the UK. But was then delighted, when they told me that their partners at Nordstrom do ship to the UK. I'm saving up, and so far, have enough for one pair, and by the end of April i can order both pairs i want. (Not to mention the list of them waiting for my Birthday...Hint hint mother! ;) )
The shoes are really affordable prices, great quality, and the colours and styles are heavenly. Not to mention, they also do some stunning handbags too! Day by day, my wish list seems to be growing.
Here are a few of my favourites. Shoes can be purchased here (Sole Society) if you live in the US, or Here (Nordstrom) if you wish to ship to another country-Countries are limited.
If you have and Sole Society shoes, or are going to buy any, please tweet me some Pics at @MusicMe93.

Trip to the forest...
So yesterday, 2 friends and myself decided to take our dogs to Wanstead Flats and forest. My word, trying to get 3 dogs on a train (as well as up some escalators) was a trial in itself. Once we got there and let them go, they were quite happy to roam around and play follow the leader. We treked through quite a few muddy paths, before we came to the edge of a small pond. We were chatting away as we walked, when i lost sight of Mylo. When we turned round, the idiot had decided to try and drown himself. (Not really, he just slipped). All was could see was his bottom and back legs flailing over a piece of wood. Thankfully he had a jacket on, so we managed to drag him out by that. Needless to say, he was a tad disorientated and shocked...he hated water before, and still hates it now. One very soggy doggy (who gave mummy a fright).
After we got past that little event, we walked them the whole way round the forest. Saw some horses in the local riding school (one tried to eat my pocket). After about 2 hours of walking, we came to a seating area, with a lovely view of the lake and the swans.
After 5 hours of walking and wading through mud (and me slipping over and grabbing a thorn bush to balance myself....ouch!) we decided that we were exhausted and needed a drink. So we found a pub across one of the fields, and luckily they allowed dogs. Not just in their garden, but in the whole pub. Mylo decided to make himself at home on the bench.
That was our day at the forest, obviously it was a lot more interesting if you were there, but i thought i'd share the pictures with you all, since i haven't blogged in a little while.
Hopefully spring and summer are now well on their way!

Dreams...
So last week I went to the UK premiere of the Safe Haven movie. It was fantastic, and i even did the Harlem Shake next to Josh Duhamel. ( i don't dance...ever).
But it got me to thinking about my dreams. One of which i want to fulfill the other i doubt i ever will. (None of my friends know these things, so if they're reading this...no you know, just don't laugh.)
Jobs...
This is the dream i doubt ill ever fulfill Although there are many jobs that i would be happy doing, my ultimate dream job is as a director/screenwriter. Film, TV, theater, whatever. To me, directing a vision would be the ultimate. To be able to pick up a book that you connect with, and bring that vision to life so that other people can see what you see, and become immersed in the story too. To be able to affect someones life through the screen, the way that the words in the book had affected you. The magic in finding the right people for a character, or the right setting, or just to add the little details which make the audience part of what they are seeing. Well, for me that sounds like a pretty darn good job. Lately ive been finding myself watching tv, and thinking how different i would have directed it. And especially lately, in the 12 books ive read this month, i think about how i would translate a scene or chapter from paper to screen, and who i would have cast in it. Laugh at me all you will, for me this is one of the ultimate jobs. I can hear you now saying "If you're so passionate about it, why don't you do it?". Well its not that easy, and i would say its one of the hardest things to get into that industry. Maybe one day, opportunity will knock, but until then, ill settle for what i can find.
Place to live...
I know you all read that thinking "Oh now she's gonna talk about living in a big fancy house, with a big garden, and a maid and what she'd want in a house." Well i am, but not quite as bad as that. Im sure that everyone at one time or another has seen a place that they wished that they could live. Well for me, its always been North Carolina (or California, but its a tad too busy for me). North Carolina has been the settings to some of my favorite books, films and TV shows. (The Nicholas Sparks books, One Tree Hill, and Safe Haven to name a few.) Whenever I've seen it, it always looks so idyllic, with stunning lakes, beaches and it strikes me as a quiet place to live. Thus, adding to my list of things to do before I'm 40, moving to North Carolina is going to be one of them.Although i haven't been there yet, i plan to go soon, and doubt ill be let down. Its also not a usual place that people from the UK think about moving to. (Usually California, New York, Spain, Milan etc.) But for me, it seems like a beautiful place where i could be proud to call it home. I've lived in the city all my life (except for school holidays when we would go to the Isle of Sheppey where we had a holiday caravan), but i can safely say that i preferred the quiet-ness of the country. Busy-ness isn't really for me, but that doesn't mean that i want to land myself in the middle of no-where. But for me, North Carolina is the place that seems to be calling me.Tweet me @MusicMe93 if you want to see the video of us at the Safe Haven premiere.

Packages....How I Love Thee....!
I love getting packages! And i love it even better when they are packages filled with REALLY good stuff, that I've been waiting for. (Anyone else feel like they've waited a lifetime for packages with stuff they really want?)
Yesterday, my packages came! And yes i did the whole child-at-Christmas-tear-off-the-paper things, and did the whole excited-squeal thing when i opened it.
I seemed to have been waiting a lifetime for those books. (Well OK it was only 4 days). But for those 4 days, id been going stir crazy without anything new to read. I read Safe Haven twice in 2 days, because i got so bored. But now im moving on. I started The Choice, and as usual something hooked me.

Safe Haven!
Ok, so over the last few weeks ive become a little addicted to novels by Nicholas Sparks. I wanted to get back into reading, so decided to read the books which inspired some of my favorite films. The first book was A Walk To Remember. From then on ive just gotten more and more into books by Nicholas Sparks Ive so far read 4, and have a list of the next ones to buy. (That means a shopping trip tomorrow to the local bookstore). The last one i read (finished yesterday and couldn't put it down), was Safe Haven. Which incidentally is the next of his films released.
Plot Summary on Safe Haven:
Plot Summary on Safe Haven:
When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. Despite her reservations, Katie slowly begins to let down her guard, putting down roots in the close-knit community and becoming increasingly attached to Alex and his family.
But even as Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts and terrifies her . . . a past that set her on a fearful, shattering journey across the country, to the sheltered oasis of Southport. With Jo’s empathic and stubborn support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards . . . and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven. (taken from the Nicholas Sparks Website)
The movie is released on Valentines Day (Feb 14th) in North America, and 1st March here in the UK.
Here is the official trailer, and movie soundtrack by Colbie Callait and Gavin DeGraw.

Snow!!
As you may have seen in the news, Britain has been smothered with snow this week; we are literally now a white blanket on any ariel maps. Living in the inner city, we aren't usually affected that bad, but this time we had around 4-5 inches. Now most people hate it, and my friends will probably kill me for saying this, but i absolutely love it. I think its beautiful. When snow is falling there is something calming and poetic about it. There is nothing better than feeling that crunch beneath your feet, and having a good snowball fight with your friends (especially when you hit them with a facial shot-result). Don't get me wrong, its horrible when it turns to ice, but can we not just enjoy the snow? A walk in the snow, with my earphones in, is one of the most therapeutic things. Tiny snowflakes look like glitter, and the sparkle from the ground is mesmerizing.
Airports close, and roads are empty. We get snow every year, and we usually see it coming so why do people not take more precautions? Get yourself some snow boots (or snow spikes) and put some salt outside your door, and it should affect you too much.
My two dogs seemed to like to too. The were nose-diving into it, and rolling around. Well, my chihuahua was making snow tunnels because most of it was taller than she was. This was the perfect time to make a snowman (who was hungry). My first one...and I'm almost 20 years old. Mostly i think it gives you some of the most stunning photographs, almost as good to put on a postcard. So i thought i would take some time to share a few with you. Here are a few of my favorites....and remember folks.... don't eat yellow snow! :)
If you have any pretty snowy pics please tweet me @MusicMe93
